Labyrinth Quest 1.1 Announcement
Officially announcing Labyrinth Quest 1.1! This update is currently in development, and is aimed towards level creators. This update comes with mostly changes to the way levels are stored, allowing for more creativity and customization when creating levels. There are some aesthetic changes as well. Overall, this update will not overly affect gameplay.
So, what kind of features can you be expecting? As previously mentioned, the level editor is getting a lot of new capabilities. For one, you will be able to change the color of the background of custom levels. Additionally, you can rotate special tiles and walls, as well as set independent variants of walls and mines (for example, you can decide if a specific wall will be a stone wall, fire wall, aqua wall, etc.). One last level-editor feature we want to highlight here is that you can set custom colors for keys and key doors, and only keys that are the same color as a key door can open them.
The other main change (though smaller) that comes with this update is decorations. Any empty spot in a level has a chance for a random decoration to be put there, like cracks in the wall, broken tools, bones, etc.
There is not set release date currently for this update (nor a poster yet), but we hope you'll stay tuned! Thank you for reading, and have a nice day!
